Neptunus

Here we have Neptune standing with his fork in a small , beautiful lake in Värmland in Sweden, and for a person with a strong  Neptune in the astrological chart it is fully OK.

The Neptune person has one eye in this world and one eye in another world and can often be in a sort of a half-trance and it seems like it could be an ability to shift between seeing reality with the left brain or the right brain.
But there is a risk that you are in two places at the same time, without knowing it! Whoops!

But it is also two ways of thinking and if the Neptune person starts talking “from another world” it will create a big confusion if the other person, who is listening, is only a left brain thinker. That person knows very well that a planet in the solar system can not stand here in the little lake and he also knows that the old Neptune God is just mythology so it is a story about something that absolutely does not exist!

Neptune can be difficult to handle because maybe you do not know that you are sailing in and out of two different kinds of reality and then, added to this, any kind of fantasy can also be perceived as reality. You can be hypnotized by an idea that you hold. Water can fill any kind of track.

I think that one has to have a very analytical mind to be able to know how to handle Neptune. Or be an artist with an education that says how to do.
Many people have learned to consciously go between this world and another, not only shamans, but also actors, singers, musicians, writers, poets, artists and so on.

The Red Indian has a method for this: when he is in the Medicine Wheel and the pipe is burning he is in the other world, but when he has closed the pipe and gone away from the wheel he is in this world.
It is the same with an altar in a church and it is the same for the artist, who is “there” on the stage but “here” when he is not on the stage.

If you are slipping in and out of different fantasy worlds and spiritual worlds it is good to have some artistic channel for it, instead of getting into fights with people about heaven & hell existing or not existing.

Neptune is said to easily bring misunderstandings because it can make something foggy so that you cannot see how it really is.

Sometimes you just use a physical fact as a diving board to get to something else beyond it and off you go into fantasy land and forget about reality. Why discuss the diving board if you can just use it to make a jump into the ocean?
Then you talk about the bright fishes and people respond by telling you what the board is made from.

If you recently found some very interesting connections between your iPhone and the Russian orthodox icons and Moses…. do not tell people about it! They have no idea what you are talking about! 

The result will just be that the other person will think that you are stupid and you will think that the other person is stupid. 

He might catch the idea if you write a poem about it, because if the poem has a good rythm it can activate his right brain and there is not intellectual position to defend.

Neptune is good for making up beautiful fantasies and for “being in another space” so it is good for meditation, music and poetry, but not for being clear about it on the normal intellectual level.

Neptune is difficult because it is like a fog that makes the situation unclear and people will easily get confused because reality and fantasy get mixed so the opinion about something can be wrong.

Neptune also turns your ego into fog so that you can lose your self-confidence and feel that you are not worth anything or you become very altruistic and just focus on helping others. Of course it can create difficulties and confusion in your everyday life where house, job, tools, time-tables and money have to function. But Neptune can give you beautiful dreams and also make you think that your material possessions are not so important. Heaven is what counts, isn´t it?

Neptune can make you believe anything, but it can sometimes be difficult to know what to believe if there is no solid structure that tells you how it should be.

With a lost sense of reality and structures Neptune can give confusion about what to do. Why should you go to work if you can be enlightened and free?

But it can also make you afraid when you don´t know what to rely on and your defense mechanism is weak and you don´t know how to handle reality.
Or your interest might just be to save the world and to be in harmony with cosmos, but that can also give you trouble because it is not easy to handle a reality that dissolves and changes like the waves of the ocean.
Maybe you should be taken care of by some charity organization that you can work for?

When a Neptune transit comes you can get dragged into misunderstandings that are caused by illusions and misinterpretations of reality.

If you are a Neptune personality, then maybe you should look for a job that deals with “other worlds”, charity or fantasy. It is OK for an artist to present a beautiful fantasy to the public.
But it is not OK for a dentist to present foggy illusions about his work.
