Venus, Jupiter and Moon in March 2012.

Around the month of March, the planets Venus and Jupiter were shining bright in the evening sky and sometimes they were also together with the moon above the western horizon right after sunset.

Many good photos were made from these bright  "evening stars".

In astrology, these three ”gods” are about love, beauty, kindness, truth, philosophy, home, mother and changing emotions.

VENUS

Venus is a feminine or yin planet meaning that it attracts love and beauty in a more passive way. It fills you with a feeling of a higher dimension of love and beauty, but if Venus doesn't go together with Mars you will just be sitting there waiting for all those nice feelings to come and “make your life happy”.
So Venus can make you passive, like the beautiful princess from the fairy tale, who is passively waiting for the prince to come.

When the prince comes something happens. When Mars comes something happens.

The two together can create something of a higher dimension, they are beauty and action together, passive love in combination with active passion. 

Mars was not seen at that place in the sky, but if we talk about Venus we have to mention Mars. 

MARS

Mars is the ego which is the drive of an individual to be himself, to find his inner Higher Self and to find his real position in life.

If we do not listen to the inner ego it will grow out of proportions and take over to be noticed. And the prince becomes the Perverted Ego with no beauty or love, he just makes anything to get forward seeking passion and recognition for himself alone, fighting against everything that can threaten his position of power.

The ego takes the position of the Higher Self and becomes “the Perverted Higher Self”, and the princess, now being put outside of the divine Self, becomes a threat to the soul, an obstacle or an object to conquer, and love and beauty vanishes from the world.

When the feminine soul, the beautiful, passive princess has been found by the ego, the prince, the warrior, then she gets the energy and active possibility to spread her love and beauty to the world.

Mars gives her the ability.

When the prince has found the princess, when the ego has found the soul, he finds what his life is about: to actively create a higher dimension of strength, love and beauty, to create paradise on earth.

But as long as he has not found his soul, his princess, he has not found himself and he only has empty action and he tries to find the missing link in the outside world where he tries to catch the wind.

This is about your own inner Venus and Mars, love and action.

The warrior has to face a lot of dangers on the road.

His higher goal and intentions are attacked by lower “demons” who try to get the ego in the wrong way. Dangers and temptations pop up.

In the fairy tale, it is the “troll”, in Christianity, it is the Devil and in our society, it is “the drugs”.

Yes, I know that the shamans...but...

when the shaman is using a drug it is still the original Lucifer, the light carrier that is not yet fallen, because a good shaman knows what “the fall” means. To him, it is not a party drug, mixed with alcohol and junk food “for the fun of it”.

Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Mars is the ruler of Aries.

 JUPITER

This is the shining king of the gods, associated with wealth, luck and wisdom. 

But also the philosopher who wants to reach the stars by expanding his mind.

Jupiter is our wish to be more than we are. It is our ability to embrace more of the universe, to see more and to understand more and to become a person of more power, wealth and knowledge. To get bigger.

Jupiter rules law and justice, so when other planets affect Jupiter in the horoscope it can mean trouble with justice or the opposite, that you benefit from the law.
So the court is a form of Jupiter.

As Jupiter means expansion there is a danger that in a time “with a strong Jupiter” you will expand too much, in a way that you later cannot handle. It can also mean eating too much and getting fat, which is also “expansion”.

Don't make an effort to get more than you can later take care of.

Jupiter is the ruler of the sign Sagittarius.

MOON

The Moon Goddess rules femininity, women, home, family and children, and the subconscious mind together with our hidden hang-ups and changeable and unpredictable emotions, and the moon also has to do with our cyclical patterns of behavior.

The moon's position can make your communication with others more or less colored with personal considerations. 

Sometimes you project more emotions on other people.

The moon makes your emotions more or less intense and can also make you overly attached to old “family things” that are holding memories.

The moon´s position can make you possessive and jealous when it triggers emotional patterns from childhood.

The moon means women but also hidden emotions, which can suddenly flood over in unpredictable outbursts, when they get triggered.

The moon goes around in one month so all these influences come and go quickly.
